There is an important meeting sponsored by the Cambridge Heights community and CUPON New Hempstead to address the possible future overdevelopment in the villages of New Hempstead and Pomona.
The meeting will be held Tuesday August 15th, 2017, 7pm, at the Fire Training Center, 35 Firemens Memorial Drive, Pomona, NY 10970
Ed Day, the county executive, will be the guest. He will address the county’s role in all new development in the county. The properties of major concern are the Matterhorn Nursery , Station Road, and Minisceongo Golf Course.
All are encouraged to come out and get an understanding of the possible impact overdevelopment will have on the resources (water, sewage, traffic, taxes, etc.) and the character of neighborhoods in and around the villages and town of Ramapo.
