The Preserve Ramapo website has provided a free alternative news source for the past 13 years. The site is managed by a small group of volunteers who depend on donations to manage the costs of producing and hosting the blog. None of the writers are paid, nor are the sources we have come to rely on over the years. You can become an active part of this community by contributing in one, or all of three ways.
1. By sending a donation either via PayPal or snail mail, you can help us pay the monthly bills to cover hosting and email services. You can mail your contributions to: PreserveRamapo, PO Box 325, Suffern, New York 10901.
Or you can donate via PayPal even if you don’t have a current account with PayPal. Click the button below and you will be taken to the Preserve Ramapo PayPal page.
2. You can also join us by participating in our own local “If you see it, say something.” We keep our sources confidential, and there is no extended staff like a community of concerned parents of school kids, taxpayers, and citizens. You can always reach us here:
3. When you read a story on our site that you think others need to hear about, just email it to your friends, and then encourage those who are not on the email update list to sign up on the website. You can also pass it on via your connections to social media, and those links appear at the beginning of the stories.
