Bill Weber Republican Candidate for Ramapo Town Board
“Two candidates will face off for a single seat on the all-Democratic Town Board in November.
Democrat Michael Rossman and Republican William Weber Jr. will be on the ballot in the Nov. 8 general election to fill the Town Board seat left vacant by former Councilman Samuel Tress.
Tress resigned earlier this month as part of a guilty plea to official misconductfor voting for a zone change on a housing development that he held a financial stake in.
Rossman will run on the Democratic Party line, and Weber will run on the Republican and Reform party lines, according to the Rockland County Board of Elections.
As of Thursday no candidates had submitted their names to appear on the Conservative, Green, Independence, Women’s Equality and Working Families lines.
The winner will hold the position for the three years Tress had remaining on his term.”
