There are some important primary contests coming up on Tuesday, September 12th, we want you to be aware of. In the Democratic Primary in Spring Valley, first and foremost we are strongly endorsing Emilia White and her slate for Mayor of Spring Valley and Spring Valley Trustee.
Emilia White is running for Mayor of the village of Spring Valley. She is currently serving as the Deputy Mayor.
Chevon DosReis is running for Trustee of The Village of Spring Valley.
Eustache Clerveaux is running for Trustee of The Village of Spring Valley.
We are also recommending Keith Cornell for the Rockland County Surrogate Judge seat. His opponent, Alden Wolfe is at the beck and call of a handful of bloc leaders and must check in with them first before he takes any action of substance, which is abundantly clear from his tenure at the Rockland County Legislature.
Outside of work, Keith has strong community ties. He is a Commissioner of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission, President of the Board of Trustees of Rockland Country Day School, and past President of the Arts Council of Rockland.
Keith is a pillar of the legal community. He is a past President of the Rockland County Bar Association and is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association Elder Law and Special Needs Section, the Estate Planning Council of Rockland County and the Chair of the Elder Law Committee of the Rockland County Bar Association. Keith has written and lectured on elder law, estate planning and legal ethics.
If you are registered to vote but did not register as a Republican or Democrat or any other specific party, then you can support Ed Day for County Executive and Robert Romanowski for Ramapo Highway Superintendent. In this year’s Reform Party primary anyone who is registered as No Party Affiliation is allowed to vote in the Reform Party primary. If you fall into this category, please come out and cast your vote for Ed Day and Robert Romanowski. It’s a really simple process. You vote at your regular polling location. When you get there, simply ask for the Reform Party Primary booth or tables. The poll workers will look up your name to make sure you are registered as a NOP, (No Party Affiliation) and then give you a ballot and allow you to cast your vote. Mark your ballot for:
Ed Day for Rockland County Executive,
Robert Romanowski for Ramapo Highway Superintendent.
