Village of Pomona

When you go out to vote tomorrow on Tuesday, we do have one special request. After you have cast your ballot and are exiting the polling place, please look for our petition carriers who will be collecting signatures from registered Democrats for the Preserve Ramapo slate of candidates, who will be challenging Michael Specht and the sitting members of the Ramapo Town Board in the Democratic Primary to be held on June 25th of this year. Reaching the required number of signatures to get our slate on the ballot is always a difficult challenge. Rather than deploying scores of petition carriers far and wide across the town, in an attempt to hunt you all down, it is much easier for us to have a few petition carriers outside the village polling locations on Tuesday gathering your signatures as you leave the polls.
