Ramapo Town Council William Weber
Reform Line Row H Box 12H
Bill Weber is exactly what the doctor ordered for the Ramapo Town Council. A Certified Public Accountant and Chief Financial Officer of a locally based company, Bill has monitored the fiscal shenanigans of St. Lawrence and crew for years. He is uniquely positioned to sort through the bond and budgetary rubble of Ramapo to assess the true state of our financial crisis. Bill has the requisite integrity and determination to right the ship in Ramapo and steer us back on course. Bill ‘s opponent was handpicked by Mona Montal and Christopher St. Lawrence for one simple reason: they know he will do whatever they tell him to do, no questions asked. We’ve seen what that will bring. Let’s put Bill Weber on the Ramapo Town Council and bring down the iron curtain of secrecy that special interests have drawn around all official business in Town Hall. Please vote for Bill on the Reform Party Line Row H Box 12H
State Senator 38th District Thomas DePrisco
Reform Line Row H Box 7H
For State Senator we endorse Tom DePrisco whose abundance of relevant life and work experience make him the best candidate for State Senator by a country mile. He’s been a NYC public school teacher, a NYC Police Officer and Captain, as well as Deputy Commissioner of the NYC Office of Emergency Management. He is currently the vice president of the Pearl River School Board, on the board of BOCES and vice president of the Rockland County School Boards Association. We are privileged to have someone with this kind of insight and commitment on the ballot for state senate. Tom’s opponent is David Carlucci who is light on real world experience and heavily dependent on the Chassidic bloc vote for reelection. Carlucci’s eager and willing involvement with the so called Independent Democratic Caucus or IDC, has been self-serving and beneficial to himself, but of great injury and detriment to his constituents, the East Ramapo school children in particular. Tom DePrisco has the experience and principles necessary to craft solutions for the ERSD and make a real difference in state government. Please vote for Tom on the Reform Line Row H Box 7H
County Court Judge: Pat Loftus Reform Line Row H Box 10H
Howard Gerber Reform Line Row H Box 9H
We are endorsing Pat Loftus and Howard Gerber for Rockland County Court Judge. There are two County Court Judge seats open this year with four candidates running. Pat Loftus is a sitting Town Justice in Orangetown , and Howard Gerber is the same in Clarkstown. Our endorsement for these two candidates is based upon our strong belief that they will rule fairly and impartially from the bench and not hand down lenient or unduly harsh sentences under pressure from special interests. It is evident to us that the other two candidates for County Court Judge will have the backing of the Chassidic bloc vote and if elected may feel beholden to the leaders of that community. Pat Loftus and Howard Gerber are experienced and principled jurists who will execute their duties with integrity, discipline, and fairness for all. Please vote for Howard Gerber and Pat Loftus on the Reform Line Row H Boxes 9H and 10H respectively.
New York State Assembly 97th District
Ellen Jaffee Green Party Line Row D Box 8D
Ellen Jaffee is the obvious choice for State Assembly in the 97th District. Ellen is tireless in efforts to represent her district and always seems to be there when it counts. Her long years of work and legislative experience make her a trusted and invaluable asset to her constituents. Balancing the needs of the many different ethnic, religious and socioeconomic groups of the 97th district is a difficult task and Ellen goes to great lengths to strike a fair balance for all. She does not shy away from the contentious issues of the day and has taken a number of very courageous positions during her tenure in the state assembly despite tremendous pressure to cave. Please vote for Ellen Jaffee on the Green Party Line Row D Box 8D.
New York State Assembly 96th District
Ken Zebrowski Reform Line Row H Box 8H
For the New York State Assembly in the 96th district we endorse Ken Zebrowski. Ken is running unopposed but deserves your vote nonetheless. He is hardworking, intelligent and well versed on the issues facing his district. He has taken strong stands on many issues and we are confident that he will continue to do so going forward. Please vote for Ken on the Reform Party Line Row H Box 8H
