This is a special election with mail-in ballots. You will receive an official ballot in the mail, and it will list only the candidates for the School Board in your Ward. After you fill out the ballot, there are two envelopes to use to send it back. One is called the Oath Envelope. It doesn’t have a return address, and you place your ballot in this envelope first, sign and date the back and seal it. Then you place the Oath Envelope in the slightly larger return address envelope with East Ramapo District address.
Please mail your ballot in soon. Don’t wait. The instructions are to make sure it’s postmarked before February 2nd, but there is ample time to do it sooner. If you haven’t received your ballot yet, you should get it soon.
